Arsenal 3 Celtic 1, Eduardo becomes the new Ronaldo.
Arsenal was sublime and Celtic could not match the level of football Arsenal displayed in either leg. Sadly last night will be remembered for one thing only — Eduardo’s dive.

Celtic 0 – 2 Arsenal. A solid start to the campaign.
It would be wrong to say that the players might have suddenly discovered a magic formula over the off-season break, but Arsenal has so far showed an edge to their game that they didn’t have at the same time last year.

Blame Wenger and his youth experiment.
All things in consideration, this side has actually done well to reach this far. The youth experiment has failed in it’s main purpose, but like any good projects the have been lessons learnt.

Advantage Arsenal, but at what cost.
What an enjoyable game, it cost us injuries to Gallas and Almunia, but in my opinion it was fantastic. Two sides playing good football, both wanting to win, with good refereeing made for an unusually wonderful contest.

We have to realise that our bid for champions league football still relies on Villa dropping more points. The good news is that while Villa seems to be running out of legs, several of our key players are slated to be back over the next few weeks.

Arsenal puts 5 past Fenerbahce
Whatever the headlines tomorrow, my man of the match has to go to Almunia. All our attacking flair would have been for nought if Almunia wasn’t there to foil Fenerbahce who actually had more shots on goal than Arsenal.

Depleted Arsenal face test at Sukru Saracoglu
Unlike some of our domestic ties, I believe we are more capable of controlling European ties, their style suits us. I strongly believe the only thing between us and champions league glory is another English side.
