It’s time to cut Eboue adrift.
Looking past his obvious faults it’s easy to see what he could bring to the team. Yesterday for 30 minutes it looked like he was intent on showing us exactly why he is in the squad, with pace and power, his surging runs unsettled Tottenham. He was easily the outstanding player on the pitch until he lost the plot.

I hope we don’t repeat that level of dross against Everton. If Wenger thinks Cardiff’s defence was first class the wait till Wednesday when he comes up against Everton and their 4-6-0 formation. A win against Everton is a must, if we are to stay in touch with the title chasing pack.
