To be the best you have to beat the best.

Surprise surprise, if it wasn’t Barcelona then it had to be AC Milan. Arsenal will meet the defending champions in the first knockout round of the UCL. This a competition that Wenger longs to win and defeating the current champions is the ultimate challenge in this phase of the competition. If we want to be champions of Europe then we have to defeat the best of Europe and it does not come much better than AC Milan

Before the next round of the UCL there is the small matter of another north London derby tomorrow when the lillywhites visit the Emirates. Spurs have had a run of form recently, it’s plain to see that Jaunde Ramos has instilled some sort of confidence in the team. 19 games unbeaten against Spurs is a great record, one which I would not want broken tomorrow.

Theo Walcott is the only injury for now, which means we will be able to field our strongest team tomorrow. It will not be easy but I am confident we will go 20 unbeaten. Adebayor is a supremely confident gunner, given his record against the spuds I can see why.

Lehman is angry with fists clenched, this guy needs some help with anger management. Grow up Jens.
Carlos Vela can’t wait to come home, He will a be a great addition to the squad.

That’s all for now. More reaction on UCL draw later
